I know it’s been a bit since we’ve chatted. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you… or Camilla. But I moved recently (again). Astute readers will remember that I moved exactly a year ago. Hopefully I’ll be settled at my new place for a little longer this time…
Moving is terrible. Who’s with me? It’s such a pain to pack up all your crap and then just have to unpack it a couple of weeks later. And it doesn’t seem to matter how many times I declutter, I still have so much junk! I’ve reached the point several times where I just wanted to throw away everything, but I’m really glad I didn’t. It turns out I do use that peeler from time to time.
I’m partially settled at this point and getting my life back in order. One of the few *joys* of moving is that I get to set up and organize my book shelves.
While unpacking I also stumbled across my very first manuscript. This is the first completed story I ever wrote. It’s the very, VERY, beginning of my Camilla series. Even amongst all of my decluttering I refuse to ever get rid of this. (No matter how bad my writing was back then 😬 😂)
Anywhoo… Thank you for sticking around and supporting me through all the bumps in my writing journey. I continue to chip away on The Crimson Witch in little increments here and there and hope to bring you this book soon, because honestly, it’s gonna be awesome. Sorry to toot my own horn.
