Oooooo yay it’s fall! I know this is cliché, but fall is my favorite time of year. As my husband can attest to, I do not do well in the heat… I love it when it cools down and I can put out my spooky decorations.

And I don’t care how basic this makes me, but I love pumpkin spice too. It does tend to get a little too sweet for my liking, but I push through because I love it. LOL

The Crimson Witch is coming along slow and steady. I made some great progress on Act 1 this past month. Sometimes I plug along week after week just writing kind of mediocre stuff, but then invariably I’ll get a break through or a great idea. That happened just a few weeks ago. I was finishing up Act 1 and suddenly I got an idea that tied together a bunch of loose story points I had going.

I was also telling my Street Team about how I needed to address Camilla’s love life in this book. I won’t give away any spoilers in case you haven’t read up to the end of The Dark Ruler yet… But I just wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to do with Camilla’s love life in this book, but this past month I had a great idea and I’m currently rolling with it!

Okay, okay, so I won’t tease you anymore. I promise the title of this post is NOT click bait. I have the final cover design for The Crimson Witch to reveal to you all! Ready?

There ya go! What do you think? If you remember from my last email I really had my heart set on a fully red cover, but the mock-ups I got that were red just weren’t working.

The blue is a nice nod to Siourious where a big part of this book takes place. My Street Team helped me make this decision and gave me the idea to see if my designer could work in some red elements into the blue cover, so this is what we came up with and I love it!

Before I get back to work on the actually writing of this book… I wanted to share a couple of time sensitive things with you. Christmas is always a really busy time for me. (Yes I know it’s only October and I’m talking about Christmas. Deal with it.) Anyway I’ve decided to bring back my Christmas book bundles this years! I love putting these together…

My Christmas book bundles include paperback copies of all of the books in the Camilla Crim series so far wrapped in pretty, vintage ribbon and tied off with a Christmas gift tag.

These are obviously awesome for Christmas gifts, but I know some of you like to have physical copies of your books so this is also a great way to get your hands on the Camilla books for a really good price. I’ll be sending out a follow up email with pricing and details on how to order very soon!

Talk to you soon!
